Actually...
Here's a wolf spider. There are many different types, but here's one:

Wolf spiders don't build webs, they actually hunt and chase down their prey... like a wolf. Also oddly enough they carry their young on their backs... seen above.
Now here's the Funnel Web Grass Spider:

Funnel web grass spiders (as the name explains) build webs, unlike their gigantic evil cousins. Also note the two stripes on the front half of it's body. Usually the defining factor in this species, outside of it's signature web:

It lays it's eggs in a sac, and does not carry the young around on it's back. In fact it often dies after reproducing. And if that's not the case, they're usually gone by the first frost.
On another note... jumping spiders are ADORABLE.
