i do full water changes once a week 50% in the middle of the week its the water from the tap i can't use. i have to filter it twice and put it in jugs its just takes a long time to do all the tanks with 8 and counting tanks to do and with getting a bigger tank. i was just wondering if anybody had any ideals. if not thats fine i will just keep doing what i'm doing the fish seem happy and that all that matters.

what exactly do you mean by your water is not good? what is in it that makes it "bad"?

Um pH and alkilinity are things I just shrug off. The more things to worry about the less happy my fish are. My pH is usually neutral at 7.0 ish and I've never checked alkilinity...to be honest I don't even have a test kit. My water sucks but yet my fish are as happy as can be :)

BTW your water changing schedule is great...lots of work but worth it in the end right :)
