Pics of Alex's tumors.

They aren't very good but I thought I would post them. He started acting alot different and being alot more scared, which he never EVER was. He's still eating but not as much. His tank tempature is fine and I've been keeping his water pretty clean and doing 50% water changes every week. He's still active and eating a little though. Should I be worried? Here are the pics.

I dont really know what a tumor is caused by, but im sure it is probably a bacterial infection.

Also, everything sounds normal so i wouldnt know what it could possibly be.

What size tank is he in?
What do you feed him and how much?
Do you feed him everyday, week ect.?

I dont mean to be rude, but i dont think that helped with the situation because that can make the owner even sadder that they already are, they seem very worried.

Also, do you know what it could have been caused by?

That sounds a little odd to me, that tumors could be caused by bacterial infections, though I've never treated tumors before and I've never looked into them.

I would just give him peace. He's probably just getting old, and old fish are sometimes more prone to illnesses. Just make sure he's happy, his water's clean, and he's getting lots of love (which I'm sure he is.)

So when this happened to you betta, did it happen very fast or slow or was it a dramatic change of your bettas tank temp of ph, something like that?

No,I really have no clue :/ Could they be gentic? His tank was brand new when I got him and he's been the only fish in it. It is cycled. He has a filter and heater. His tempature stays between 78-82 degrees. Is there anything that could have caused this?
