Question sanitizing nets

I was wondering how I can safely sanitize my fish nets. I have heard bleach works, but how much should I dilute it and how can i be sure i have rinsed it well enough that it's safe for my fish? (yes i know i'm probably being paranoid ) is there a safer/better way to clean nets? thanks everyone!

I allow the net to dry between use....I have never used any type of special treatment of my nets unless something is wrong and then I use a different net......I have 9 large tanks in the house and about 80 small container not counting the outside tanks and in the 30 plus years in this hobby have never passed anything from one tank to another.......but if you use bleach on your net be aware that it can eat the fibers and you will need to dip them in dechloranated water before fish use.

Same here. I only bleach tanks, heaters, and plants (plastic).

I bleach all of my equipment monthly with a 1/10 ratio of bleach/water. You can also buy potassium permaganate (sp?) to sanitize your equipment.

Jungle sells a Net Soak that you can buy. My transhipper friend Jen Vivieros uses it on her transship fish.

rubbing alkie it will kill most all and evaporate after use if you are still worried just rinse off after use.
