Erm, woops, was actually a typo. I have a 50w for my 10gal, that's what I was thinking of.

yes, i thought about that and was planning on getting a 25w anyway. For now i have a light shining on the tank and wrapped it in towels. He seems a little bit happier now. Thanks so much everyone!

For a tank so small this heater is perfect, I have one and it's wonderful.
