New breeding stock.

These are some new fish I picked up today from Karen Mac Auley ( Martinismommy on Aquabid).

First an HM opaque pastel girl.
She's around 3.5 months old and is a sib to the pastel male I already have. She carries marble and melano. I hoping to try to spawn her with my pastel boy in around a week or so maybe.



Second a cute little HM MG girl. Her age is unknown because she was in a growout tank with fish from different spawns. I think she might be around 10 weeks old though. She carries DT.




Up next is a beautiful HM MG male that's either half sib or full sib to the MG female above. I also think he's around 10 weeks but I'm not sure. He also carries DT.



And finally a stunning steel MG HMDT female. This female is also either half sib or full sib to the two MGs posted above. She's either 10 weeks or 12 weeks but looks like 10 weeks also.




Like I said above, I'm spawning the opaque/pastel girl to my pastel boy around next week maybe, so I'm starting conditioning today. If the spawn is successful, and there are 40 or less fry by the 2-3 week mark I'm either spawning the MG boy with the HM MG girl or the HMDT girl .

Can't wait. I'm getting desecndents of Martinismommys fish (convenience, there's a breeder near me who has them) and I'd also love a pair!!

Pretty. The last female is gorgeous. I really want another male from Karen but I think I want something from a different line instead of just another MG male. I really can't afford Karen's prices right now anyways.

She really is! She's gotten more color over the last couple of hours.

PS What color male are you thinking about getting?

I want another MG male, one with more yellow than my current male has and who isn't OHM.
