yaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!!!! :-D

well, I just got a new betta! yeah, I know that Logan just died, (and i'm still really sad ) but I'm not in any way trying to replace him, I have been planning on getting another one for a while. I went to petsmart just to look, but I talked my dad into buying him! I can't set up the tank until Monday, but he was probably in that cup for weeks, If not months, so a few more days wont hurt him, right? anyway, he's a crowntail, I think he's a cellophane, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. any ideas for names would be appreciated! oh, and I'll get some better pics when he's all settled in!

He is very pretty, but I'm not sure what color he is. If you don't have a tank set up right away, why not use a larger tubberware with clean water, chances are you have some sort of clean tubberware that is bigger than a betta cup, no? If you don't, just make sure to keep that cup incredibly clean.

how big is the tank you're setting up for him?

Beautiful!! :) It's hard to tell because in the picture he looks yellow, does he in real life? But because you can pretty much see through him I'd bet he is, because that's what Casanova looks like. :) I can't wait to see what you name him!

the tank i'm setting up is a half gallon critter carrier, but i will be upgrading to a larger filtered tank soon. I don't really have anything to put him in, since i wasn't planning on getting a new betta. i want to sanitize Riley's tank before using it or buy a new one because I don't know what he died from. and thank you fawnleaf! petsmart puts something blue in the water, probably methylene blue or water conditioner, so it makes him look yellowish, but when I get him into clean water, from what I can tell he will be more whitish.

well, first I have to see if he's even yellow, it's hard to tell in the blue water, he may be peach colored and i think he has a blue spot, but if he is yellow Banana is definitely on the top of my list! and thank you, I love him too!!
