Bubblenests...experiment.

Ok yesterday I was at the gas station getting something to eat with my friend and I saw all the lids where the soda fountain is. I took a handful and threw one in my conditioning tub housing my HMPK blue dragon pair. When I spawned them last time he built an ok size nest in the corner of the cup. I had a styro cup in the tub with them but there was no nest. I threw the lid in and this is what I got within an hour:

Here's a vid of the pair:

Yes but not till November. I'm just housing them in the tub because it has a heater and they weren't looking to good in their 1 gallon jars so I moved them to the tub and they're great. She's in a 16 ounce cup with slits in it so that she can have clean water at all times. The tub gets weekly 1/2 gallon water changes.

TBH, I don't think that is a bubble nest. Looks like air bubbles to me..

Nope it's a bubblenest. He's been expanding it and I've noticed PKs make bigger bubbles. The big bubble in the middle is an air bubble but is where you'd insert a straw into the lid, he gets his air there. Lemme get another pic because there's smaller bubbles now.

This is it now. And there's no filtration or areation in the tub so they're not air bubbles.
