Frozen bloodworms?

Right now I use freeze-dried bloodworms...But I heard that frozen bloodworms are better for bettas. So,I was wondering! For the people who do use frozen bloodworms...Do your bettas like them better? And how do you feed them to bettas? I have always seen them in almost cube like containers so,I'm not sure if you have to thaw them first or what.

Thank-you!,
Kayla

I use frozen bloodworms, They come Cube.. All you need to do is add the cube to a small cup, with a bit of water, and whack it in the microwave for 15seconds..

Or you could cut off the cube what u intend to use that feed , and defrost it the same way..

My betta prefers Frozen blood worms to freeze dried...

Well, freeze dried foods hold very little, if any, nutritional value. They also, even when soaked, can cause bloat very easily. My advice would be to ditch them and get the frozen ones, they're much better for your betta and probably are much tastier to them, too. (:

+1 to Capricorn. Frozen is MUCH better ;)

If you can't find bloodworms in a sheet that you just break pieces off from, just cut small parts off the cube and soak the pieces you want to feed in a bit of tank water to defrost before feeding.
Don't defrost the whole cube....you can't feed it all, and it'll last longer if you just cut pieces off ;)
