sucks Mr V! If it's any consolation, I think most of us have had a teacher like that at one point. I had a drafting teacher in eigth grade, Mr. Solomon, who thought he was as wise as his namesake, also volunteered to prowl the school grounds for smokers before and after school, what a control freak! We never got along at
all, and I was constantly being reprimanded for one thing after another. One of my cousins got him the following year and was constantly in trouble with the guy....
then my next oldest brother got him two years later, same story.
Fast forward 20-some years, and my stepson drew this same yoyo (yes, he was still there) and made the mistake of telling him I was his stepdad, and that got him summarily thrown out of the class! Poor kid, he was so worried I'd be mad. Not a chance- I set up a meeting with the principal and read him the riot act about what a bozo this guy was and if there were any black marks on my boys record, there'd be hell to pay. End of discussion, my boy switched classes and there were no repercussions cause deep down, the principle knew the guy was a jerk too.
Chin up, this too shall pass.
