Help

On top of my water that my betta is in.. There is a thin layer of coating sort of like slime on top of the water.. Can anyone tell me what this is?

No.. I'm suppose to be getting one soon right now it is a 2 gallon tank...

Then it's most likely gasses that are dissolved on the surface of the water. It doesn't do anything, but it isn't very nice to look at.
