15 females in a 20 gallon L???

Right now i have 15 females in my 20 gallon long tank and i was wondering if that is too much? I have just had 15 in it for only about 2 weeks and everything seems relatively peaceful and i also added only 1-3 females at a time over a period of time. So my question is, if i have enough hiding places is it ok to have that many females in one tank???

Dont be afraid to comment, im open to contructive criticism lol. If i need to move some into another tank, i can because i have plenty of old tanks sittin in my garage :p

IMO if you have lots of live plants and are a stickler for water testing and water changes you should have no problem. My sorority is a 10 gallon with 5 females (used to be 7 but two recently passed from illness). I do one weekly water change and another "top off" mid week. I also test 2 times a week for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate and my levels are always perfect.

IMO overstocking is always better when it comes to sororities because the aggression can be spread around more evenly.

When you say water change, do you mean 25%, 30%, 100% water change or what?

Is your tank cycled? That is a must if your going to have a sorority.

A cycled 20 gallon with no live plants should get a 50% change once a week. A planted tank probably only needs 10-20%.

Ya its cycled ive had it set up for at least a month now. As of right now i dont have live plants but im planning to get some. Im also planning to do a water change this sunday so ill do a 50% change then
