I'm just so giddy over my fish

So, later this afternoon my tank's filter and heater will have been running for 24 hours and I'm looking forward to picking up some tank mates for my little sweeties. I put their small container that they came in in front of the tank and I've watched them looking towards the tank. Goldfish was looking towards the tank and letting bubbles go. I hope they love the tank. I had so much fun putting it together!

It sounds like it's really coming along. I can't wait to see pictures of them when they get settled into their new tank.

Ghost shrimp are fun to watch. I got natural gravel, so they blend in really easily. Baffled the filter and so the water isn't so fast now. Will take pics when things have settled.

Zoot, Goldfish and Nemo

Goldfish says, "You can't see me!"

Goldfish likes his bridge.

Icee checking out the plastic plant. Bonnie or Clyde is hiding under it.

Icee checking out the heater with Fluffy.

So we have Goldfish and Icee, the bettas; Zoot and Tuba, the Zebra Danios; Ozzie and Harriet and Bonnie and Clyde, the Ghost Shrimp; Nemo, the Green Cory Catfish; and Fluffy, the Emerald Green Cory Catfish. The smaller fish have figured out a small gap in the divider (between it and the tank) and switch between sides. Goldfish tries to play tag with them, or chase or something, but no nipping. Both bettas are enjoying their matching bridges to hide under. All seems happy in the tank.

Wow, that sure looks beautiful! I bet your fishies are really happy!

However, I'm not sure how big your tank is. If it is a 10 gallon, like I think it is, you're pretty alright on stocking, but right now it doesn't matter. Zebra danios are schooling fish (5 or more in a school) and are so active it honestly is best for them to have a 20 gallon for their room. Your cories should be fine, though you might want to add another one, seeing as they like to be in groups as well.
