White on the end of gills?

My fish has white alone the back of both gills it looks solid not like patches. I have pictures but none of them turn out so you can see. Any idea what i should do?

you can cind of see it

I can't see anything. :S
But, when did you notice that white color? How is he acting? Is he eating normally?

He is acting perfectly normal eating lots as usual. Its right infront of his front fin on the pic its a pixley white bit
