Help!!!

I just got this betta yesterday, like sometimes he large beatiful tail will be open when he swims and sometimes when he wont but sometimes he will sorta close them, they dont look clamped but they look smaller, is there anything I can do?? To make them stay big??

How big is the tank and what is the water temp?

You may want to up your temp a bit-some Bettas are more sensitive to water temp than other and need the high end of norm-76-80F

I cant , this heater isnt adjustable :/
