Crowntail

I got new crowntail today and while looking at him I noticed a few of the ends on his fin have curled up a little... Is it bad and is there anything I can do to help them uncurl...

Hi!
My veil tail also has some curls in his fins, on the pelvic ones and the end of his dorsal tends to have them if he doesn't open it. He had them since I bought him. I've done some research and it's caused by poor water quality, like the one pet stores usually have them in. Sadly, there's no way to undo the curling.
The good side is you'll give him a great new home! Try to keep his water clean so no new curls appear!

Well this is normal, it happens either when they are getting old or with bad water quality. Also there is really nothing you can do for him besides keep his tank extra clean. its not very harmful though.

I seem to remember reading somewhere (and don't quote me on this) that it has to do with the pH level of the water.
