My new fish seems to be 'falling asleep' a lot today. He'll swim around and then, suddenly stop still for quite a while, then carry on swimming. Then stop again.
It's really worrying me, as I don't want to lose him. I just go him from the pet store a week ago. He's eating and looking around his tank, and at pictures I put near it.
He's in the living room, and we're in and out of the room but switch off the lights around 1am, and sunrise is at 6am. Is it because he's not getting enough sleep? Or do you think he might be ill?

How has your betta fish's appearance changed? No change
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Just seems to 'stop' and sleep quite often today, just swimming away, then stop and 'sleep' for 5 minutes and then back to swimming.
