I Caved....

I've been admiring a female VT every time I go to Petco. Tiny, white with pink iridescent sheen on her scales and BLUE eyes. By far the cutest, girliest girl fish I've every seen. I kept on waiting for someone to buy her, I even put her in a place on the display so that she was the first female you could see. Because she's gorgeous and she deserves a home and I don't want to fall victim and buy her. But for a WEEK, no one bought her, and I kept going to get things for Gyarado's tank and I kept seeing her and.... well....

I went and bought her. And named her Ariel.

I don't blame you. Same thing happened to me, except that it was a pretty boy fish and I didn't get to him in time before he died and was replaced. :c

That's what happened with my boy Two-Tails. I want to Petco to buy something and came home with him!

I find the best bettas are the ones you stumble across and just can't resist X)

Thanks guys! She's doing really well. Right now her tank is fairly bare because I'm giving her a five day treatment with Betta Revive since she was a little sickly from the dirty cup she came in. She's grown though. She's very small and I have to crush her pellet so she can eat, but she's fattened up since I brought her home.

Pictures are unfortunately going to be in a few days. My camera died and I left my charger at my parents place. They're mailing it to me, so it'll be here in a few days.
