Filter in a 2.5 gallon

Does anyone have a filter in their small tank? I'm considering getting one, but I'm not sure what kind to get? I also don't think that Walmart or my local pet store carries any for tanks smaller than 5 gallons...

Oh, and does my tank have to be cycled to need a filter? I just want a filter to help keep the water cleaner and be a home for my good bacteria.

Thanks guys! :)

Red Sea Nano Filter, works great on my 5 housing a betta, ghost shrimp and live plants.

I just purchased this filter the other day, it will be a week or two before it ships in but i'll let you know how it goes on my 2.1 gallon tank if you like.

Yes, please tell me how that works out! My betta keeps getting sick, so I figure something to help keep the water cleaner will help a lot.

No worries mate. As I said, it will be at least a week and a half before it arrives though. But from the many reviews I have read, they are amazing filters for small tanks, and very cheap too.
