Question Question about size and age

Is a teenie tiny betta young compared to a betta about little over an inch? Because I want a betta that will live a long time?

Personally if you take care of a Betta properly it'll live a long time. I'm not quite sure about sizes with ages, but I don't think any Betta you buy from a store will be older then a year, though I could be wrong. I've only ever seen a very tiny Betta before at the store who had to only be a juvenile, and that is my Christmas who I have now, he is the smallest I have ever ever seen across three states and many stores, all others have pretty much been the same sizes.
