i finally made the switch from fake to live plants! what do you think?

i have a water sprite, some java moss and some sort of val, not sure of the exact name. are these plants ok in my betta's 5.5 gallon? thanks

Nice job and good choices on the plants...your tank looks nice.....is that a light colored rock and real driftwood with the moss attached....looks good.

i was told that the plant on the left was a water sprite. i love the java moss but hate that it gets so dirty. Do you all think ghost shrimp would help to clean it up?

Shrimp love to pick/feed in the moss and will help some with cleaning it and that is water sprite on the left
I use my mini homemade siphon and stir and blow the moss to get it clean then vacuum...being really careful not to suck up the baby red cherry shrimp that call it home. The snails I have also help to a degree in keeping it clean as well.

your betta should enjoy lying in the watersprite mine certainly did. it looks great love all the natural rock.

How is that thermometer doing for you? I bought that exact one online but as soon as I took it out of the package I dropped it and it broke and it didn't come with a warranty. D:
I don't have much money right now so maybe I will buy another next month...
