I swear I could start writing about the adventures Maxi gets himself into in a confined space...

First the garbage disposal adventure I shared about on another thread, now this. I was doing a water change, moving some things around in his tank. I put a rock formation back in but I hadn't yet pushed it down into the gravel & there were spaces underneath. I go put things away, come back to finish - and Maxi is nowhere to be found. I'm searching all over, even around the tank though the hood was on. I picked up the rock formation and he wasn't under there. I put it back down on its side and noticed a big hole in the bottom. I looked but didn't see him inside. I'm starting to get really worried here... Suddenly, here he comes, casually swimming out of the hole like he does this everyday. OMG! Was he trying to give me a heart attack?? And just how did he find that hole so quickly on the bottom of the rocks? I was only gone for about 30 seconds. These guys are worse than a small child!

So this weekend I'm going to go get him some new tank toys with holes he can swim in & out of since he seems to like that so much. Whew!

Oh Lord! D: XD I nearly had a heart attack reading this! XD Glad he's alright! And I just read the disposal thread! It's amazing he survived! :D He's one talented fish! =]

They are like having little children! LOL! I had a pleco once that swam down a tube and stayed there for DAYS.. maybe longer and there was nothing I could do! He then came back up and had doubled or more in size.. and of course I thought he had died so I had already bought ANOTHER pleco.. which then was killed by the monster one that returned from the dead.. oh the things fish do.
glad I have finally downsized to a betta tank!
