Just a quick question, Golden Mollies yes or no?

Mollies and bettas aren't my favorite pairing.. mollies and platies like harder water with some salinity, whereas bettas are a soft water species that doesn't tolerate salinity. Mollies can also be bullies and nip at bettas terribly and if the mollies are brightly colored, aggression can go the other way as well.

Maybe you should consider a school of pygmy cories instead. :)

I dont appreciate your tone whatsoever. You never did state that you were wanting to add Mollies in with your Betta. And I do believe asking is better then assuming!!!

I had dalmation mollies with my first betta (Petsmart told me they would be fine together). As long as I kept the molly group big enough they left my betta alone and vice versa. I did have to make more frequent water changes though because the mollies produce a lot of waste.

She/he DID ask, It DOES NOT take a Genius to work out what they were asking...

Especially seeing as i worked it out without having to ask..

Yea you might have owned Betta's longer but what in hell gives you the right to type to other members as if your better than them?

Ok well im sorry if you didnt understand my question. It was only you. I would have thought posting a question about a fish in the Betta fish compatibility section of a forum all about Bettas would have made sense... i cant possibly see how I would be asking its compatibility with anything but a Betta. If this is the way you treat "new" betta owners... you should be ashamed. How are you to know I have not grown up with family members owning the fish which got me into them? you dont know squat. maybe you should try to get to know us "noobs" before making assumptions.
