Submersible heater question?

So I want a heater that's completely and fully submersible, not one that can only go to a certain length, but all the way underwater... Um, a longer skinnier one would be nice, and also the tank is 10 gallons, and I want it to be heated up by another 10 degrees Fahrenheit so how many watts? And also, what's a good thermometre to buy?

I recommend thr Marineland stealth visitherm. It's fully submersible. I think a 50 watt will work for a 10 gallon tank.

Yes, a 50 watt is PERFECT for a 10 gal. tank, IMO/E.

I purchased two 25 watt Jebo Heaters from this seller on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_3042wt_989

and am VERY happy with both the heaters AND the seller - VERY fast shipping.

A 50 watt heater with shipping would cost $15.49 - a pretty good deal, IMO!

I have a Hydor Theo heater, they make them in a variety of wattage including 50w, it's also fully submersible.

Nearly all of the long skinny heaters that I see in petstores around here these days are fully submersible. I have Marineland Stealth Visitherms in mine, but I've heard good things about Hydor Theos, too. Unfortunately, the Theos aren't available at any of my local stores, but if I wanted to order one, I'd probably order from Doctors Foster and Smith. I recently ordered some things from them and was very happy with how quickly and cheaply my order was shipped.
