Just wondering about wisteria, I wanted a plant to float at the top of my tanks since all my fish love to dwell near the top. I thought I read once that Wisteria doesn't need to be planted, it can just float at the top? I was wondering if I read right and if I did, if there's a special way to do it?
Well if you cut it into a million pieces then maybe but cutting it in half or in thirds will be fine. The plant will develop roots at the spot you cut it through. so long as each stem has several leaves the cuttings will be just fine.
cool to know. when I got the wisteria for my 2.5 I had one extra, so I put it in my 20 gal (what I do with all my extra plants) since everything for some reason does AMAZING in the tank...even though the light doesnt seem bright enough, and I dont add anything to the water for the plants. Seems to be 2x the size it was in only about a week or 2
