Exclamation Help

Ok... Well I walked into petco today and this little betts caught my eyes.... So of course the obsession took over... Well he was in dirty water and his fins a really clamped... I was wondering what I can to help him unclamp his fins...

I think that warm clean water and some aquarium salt will do the trick. It worked with my little one.

For my 2.5 tanks I put only 2 or 3 grains. Mine comes in big ones, so, it's sufficient. I would say maybe a 1/2 teaspoon would by enough. :)

Aquarium salt treatment due to poor water quality and clamped fins:

Use-Aquarium salt 1tsp/gal along with 100% daily water changes for 10 days in QT-(sometimes just 100% water changes daily is all that is needed)

I like to pre-mix the salt in a 1gal jug to make water changes and correct dosage easier

It is important to use the correct dosage when treating to prevent resistant pathogen/parasite
Avoid long term use of aquarium salt and wrong dosage
