-- Some days Tetra betta flakes with color enhancers and some days he gets Wardley's betta pellets.

-- When I wake up in the mornings and before I go to bed at night.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change?
-- Partial every 2-3 days and a full change weekly
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change?
-- During my partial changes usually 25% to 50% depending on how dirty it is.
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change?
-- I was using just plain spring water and now i've been using tap water with Tetra AuquaSafe and a tad of spring water mixed in.

-- I haven't tested it.

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed?
-- He's been clamping his fins.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed?
-- It hasn't really. He still swims around and eats normally.
When did you start noticing the symptoms?
-- About 4-5 days ago.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?
-- I did a full water change and added some aquarium salt according to the directions on the package.
Does your fish have any history of being ill?
-- No.
How old is your fish (approximately)?
-- I'm not sure. I've had him for about 3 weeks and he's been fine up until now.

Basically, his fins were fine and I woke up the next day and he had his fins clamped. He's eating and swimming normally, i'm just worried about his fins. I don't know if it's just stress or if he's sick. I added some aquarium salt to his water last change and they opened up a little but they still don't look good enough for my mind to be settled.

He's my first betta, so I'm not sure if it's something i've done or not.

Doesn't look too bad, maybe he's just a bit chilly... Try bumping the temp up to the 78-80 range and see if that helps.

I think he looks fine. Like metalbetta said, it might help if you raised the temperature in there.

You should make sure you get a liquid test kit too. But yeah, he looks fine. Raise the temp and keep an eye on him :) I keep mine at 80
