My new HM boy! (Pic heavy)

Here are finally some pictures of the new imported white boy that I bought at my college! No name yet-I've been thinking of Janus or January (well, since it ties into Janus).

He's so funny. When he's confused or wants to examine something, he actually tilts his head. He spent the first day in the tank taking an experimental bite out of EVERYTHING-the floating lily, the silk plants, the clay pot...he especially tried to eat the divider.

As you can see, his fins are pretty ragged...I'm hopping they heal up soon.

I agree! He's beautiful, and just put in a little aquarium salt to heal his fins! :)

Is that stuff fake grass? I really want to get some more live plants, but the fertilizer stuff is really expensive. I was thinking java moss, but it might get all caught up in the current of the filter. I'm putting some in Casanova's tank, because he has no filter. :) So what's that stuff called??

All of my plants are fake, save for a moss ball on his side. The tall grass in the back I got in Michael's, but I don't know where the carpet plant is from...my dad had some extra lying around from his Platy tank, and he gave it to me.

oh :( It looks so pretty... Are you breeding him? Just curious. Was he from Aquabid? I can never find any fish at Aquabid that actually look better than the ones at Petco. They're stunning, but always sick. My babysitter found a pure white crowntail for only $4.00 the other day. I SOO wanted him, but he was her first fish so I kept quiet. :)
