So I got a new betta yesturday..Not sure of all his colors yet.. He was at Petco and and i walked by him and he had this look on his face like please take me home....so of course i had to...His fins are clamped and that is what i am trying to get rid of other than that he seems to be a good lil man....I will post pics later...

No it looks nothing like fin rot... He looks good and he has perked up alot.. I think they are just clamped.. They have opened up a little bit... Im changing his water everyday and used a little aquarium salt to help...

OKay! Sounds like your doing everything correctly. Try having his tank heated to 81 degrees for now.. Then you can lower the temp as he gets used to his new home.
