You can get a really easy pretty carpet plant. Minuta Marsilea. Im using it in my tank and its super easy to take care of. Its not full yet in my tank but this picture shows what it will look like



Java Ferns are great. Tie them to driftwood.

question: I know Java fern needs to be tied to something, but do any of these other plants have other 'planting' requirements that weren't mentioned on the site?

Anubias needs to be tied. Or super glued. Thats what I do. Heres a pic of my anubias and java fern attached to the wood.

The Java Fern is in the left and the little tiny Anubias are glued on. I think you can see the super glue still haha.

So anubias and java fern need to be attached, not buried. Are the others ok to bury in the substrate?
