Poems i made!

Well i just wanted to post poems i write here so i can know what you all think!

This first one is for Reflections at my school for the theme "together we can"

Rescue Me




The earth surrounds me in this pitch black darkness,
Hope I cannot see,
Mercy has forgotten me.


A small light shines high above,
a light I cannot reach,
my hands now worn from trying,
to grasp a ledge that is not there,
and to escape from this terror.


“Have you fallen too stranger?”
a kind voice said.
“ Alone in darkness are we.”
“ Two souls who have fallen to a world of pure hopelessness”
“But fear not, together we shall escape from this horrible place.”


Not knowing who he may be,
or having the faintest idea where we were,
or where he would take me,
I took his hand and he guided me,
up towards that unreachable light,
that barrier between me and the world.


we did that which was impossible to do alone,
We broke through that barrier and stepped into the light.


“When you are in need I will be there.”
And in turn I for you.
Together we will surpass all challenges,
That life has to give,


And when that day comes that we must part ways,
I'll remember that day in the darkness,
and I will rescue another like he did for me,
for alone we are hopeless together we are free.


This one is about that special someone (whoever he is XD)

Scarlet Skies, Teary Eyes


Scarlet skies, teary eyes,
In your arms I reside


The world around in catastrophe,
But still your embrace surrounds me


A kiss you place upon my cheek much to my surprise
Reds of all shades turn to the brightest of blue skies,


Your velvet voice that graces my humble ears
can bring even angels to tears
as it echoes throughout the years


The colors around become so bright
whenever you are in my sight,


The world around however imperfect,
shall be flawless as long as you are in it


Every day is a gift for me,
because your very breathe is a symphony


Even heaven itself cannot compare,
to this world when you are there


Scarlet skies, teary eyes
In your arms I reside


Trees of green skies now of blue,
I only live because of you.
