I understand that! :) Snakeys are so precious, it's sad to see them not get the attention they need! and thanks! She loves compliments! That's an old picture of her when she was getting ready to shed, so she's not at her finest there, but it's still one of my favorites of her XD

Balls are sweethearts, docile and really enjoy being (gently) handled too.

Keep the floor of her tank somewhat warm to the touch, and at three feet, I'm going to estimate that at her size she'll want an adult mouse or small rat about once every 10 days to two weeks. Not uncommon for them to go a month without eating, but let that be her choice. Oh, and don't leave the rodent in with her for more than 15 minutes or so if she doesn't show interest fairly quickly. Decor to crawl over and hide in (nothing sharp) will make her feel more comfy too

Funny BP story- almost ruined one once because the mouse failed to react with fear to the snake and walked on it before the snake made up its mind to attack. Snakes are simple minded creatures and when the prey doesn't act like prey, the snake doesn't know how to deal with it- that girl was traumatized for over a MONTH!

I'd love a snake one day. I'm not sure if I can get myself to fed it, though...I have a hard time giving my bettas FD bloodworms as is. Plus, my mom would never visit me if I did :P
