New DTHM boy

Went to the LPS today and had to look at the bettas. Last time (about a week and a half ago) there were two nice DTs that I had my eye on but decided to wait and see if they were still there when I came back. There was a purple (!) BF with nice, large, even lobes and a nice cambodian DTHM. Well, when I went back today the purple guy was gone :( but the cambo guy was still there and still looking great.

In this place, you have to pay $1 extra for the cup, so I had him bagged and then the lady took $1 off his price because of it...not how it's supposed to be done but I wasn't complaining lol. Maybe the price they have includes the cup?? So only $3.50 for the boy. I'll get pics in a little while.

And...that'll be my last new betta for a while. He's taking the last spot in the 20 long and so no more for me, no matter how many I want.

Haha lol well I'm breeding so hopefully I'll have 70 or more new little baby bettas soon...

1. Whats a BF (I assume you arent talking about boyfriends)
2. Whats a DTHM? There's no such thing as a delta- halfmoon. its either one or the other.

Sorry, BF is butterfly patterned

DTHM is doubletail HM. DT actually stands for doubletail and DeT or Delta is delta tail.

You're welcome lol. Everyone on the forum knows doubletail as DBT but it's really not. And I don't know if the forum uses BF for butterfly but other places have. Sorry for the confusion.

Also I think doubletail halfmoon can also be halfmoon doubletail and it doesn't matter which one you use...so either HMDT or DTHM
