Swim bladder disorder?

Hey everyone,

My betta Jaws has recently recovered from fin rot/fungus :] You may have read my previous posts on here about his ailments.
And now I have yet another question - I believe he has a swim bladder problem. This morning before i went to work, he was floating on his side, flailing around, and pooping quite a bit. It even got to the point where he was floating upside down but still breathing. I went to work, knowing what i was going to come home to, but surprisingly the little guy is still alive.
He's not floating on his side anymore, but still seems to be having difficulty breathing.. I moved him from his tank and into a small plastic tub for now.
So is it just his swim bladder? or could it be more serious?

You might try the Epsom salt treatment and see if that will help-however, since he has been sick and treated the swim bladder could be damaged and not a lot you can all depends on the whats and whys.....

Epsom salt 1tsp/gal along with 100% water changes for 10 days while in QT
Pre-mix the salt in a 1g jug to make water changes and correct dosage easier

Epsom salt can help with buoyancy problems and reduce edema-he may have a plug in the duct, the duct may be swollen/inflamed/infected-sometimes these problems are genetic related too or from poor husbandry at the breeders.
