Well thats the thing, when im not out working or playing with the baby im at my computer, which is on my desk, which the new betta is right next to the laptop/

Eventually, though i think part of the problem is because hes in pain, after all, who wouldnt hide away all day if they had a huge hole in their face?

Well, good news, i cant see anymore red on his sore, its just a bit pink, still open though. I took out all the decorations except for the plants and gravel, kept up on the water changes and gravel vacuuming, salt, and melafix (just the residue from the teasppon after adding it to the 20 gallon for the goldfish' ulcers). Cant afford a tank heater now so im using a heating pad.

Well, time from some good news! The hole has completely healed over, now it just looks like a pink scar, no scales have started growing on it, but i dont think any new ones will, but hey, i could be wrong. So, some good news during a bad week.

That's good news.

If he's still not eating, try putting a small garlic clove in a little warm water, soak a few pellets in there for 5-10 mins. and then see if he eats that. I do this for all my bettas anyway bc i think i had one that died from swallowing a pellet dry and it got stuck in his throat :(

Hes eating, but only frozen bloodworms, he wont touch anything else. Picky eater
