Did you try the anti-parasitic medication, like Adastra suggested (look up to that post again)? Since he's not eating now, you probably want to get the kind that dissolves. You'd probably want to put him back in the smaller tank to treat him.

There is a significant possibility that this is malawi bloat or something very much like it. I posted some information on it in a similar thread:

He is not any better. He is still very bloated and antiparasitic not seeming to help.He did eat 2 pellets for the first time in over a week. He has not seemed interested in eating at all. He seemed so happy but what I thought was odd was that he seemed to have great difficulty coordinating to eat. he would go up and try to eat a pellet but would completely miss it. I don't know if eating was a good thing or bad. Continuing daily water changes, epsom salt and meds. I just don't want him to suffer. I increased temp to 80-81 from reading other postings. I s this not good?
