Falling for the rescue...

Captiva, my little PetSmart rescue betta who was given to me... I had planned on rehoming him once he recovered. He's in a smallish tank and I never viewed him as a permanent fixture here.

He's absolutely the most personable fish I have. He wiggles every time I'm in the room... Follows me all around his tank... Has no fear of anything!

Tonight, I was adjusting the heater in his tank and he swam up and rested on my fingers. It shocked me! But I tried not to scare him when I took my hand out.

This is also the fish that leaps up for his food. He actually leaped to my finger tips tonight!

He was supposed to be a foster!! Oh no... I think he's a keeper. Guess I now have to figure out where and how to add another larger tank.

He's got good color. Guess he appreciates good care and a nice tank. Good job on saving a fish.
