Talking My first Betta

My daughter wanted a fish and we bought a few gold fish. These quickly died; so, I did some research and we decided to give a Bettafish a try.
Our new fish, named 'WoeWoe' (by my three year old) is so neat. He sits by my computer and swims very gracefully. It is so relaxing to watch him that I can totally see myself setting up a few tanks of these around the house. I'm guessing he's a typical Beta (purchased from Wallyworld) but does anyone know if he has a type or name?

He would be considered a Multicolour Veiltail, and what a BEAUTY! <3

What a beautiful fish! I love his colouring! (Now I want a Christmas coloured fish, but usually they only have red and blue here.)
