I just got it as well, and it's working great for me.
Bottom was scratched up, and my heater tends to make the condensation leak out the sides now and then, but otherwise all good.

Gonna hijack this, but I have baffled the filter with a sponge, but my betta still seems to be overpowered by it on the right side. I tried adding a water-bottle baffle, via the stickied-thread method, with no noticeable improvement.

I'm starting to wonder if my betta is just lazy... He's gone back to being a depressed little bugger.
