Well I am new and posted a pic of my new addition, Mr. Fishy, however hubby and I got another a couple days after him. However, as some may know from posts around the forum, he is possibly suffering swimming bladder.. I think he is doing better, he was attacking his 'no fishing' decoration in his tank a few times today, lol.. So here are a couple pics. Keep in mind they are taking via cellphone, so aren't the best quality. Cobra is the light colored with bright fins and Mr. Fishy is red boy.
P.S. Is it possible for a betta to truly like a smaller tank compared to a 5 gallon? I moved Mr. Fish back to the 1 gallon with a plant and some river stones.. He absolutely loves it compared to the 5 gallon. It was almost as if he was depressed in such a big tank, he wouldn't do much of anything or eat.. Now that he is in the 1gal, he eats and swims around, playing in his plant so much. Sorry if it sounds silly. The tank is currently unheated in one of the warmest rooms in the house, we monitor the tank a lot as it is my study room and the temp is perfect, even at night.
