Roger doesn't look too good.. please help!

Well roger is pale and looks a little thin despite me just giving him a nice meal o' bloodworms and is clamping his fins and just staying still in a corner of the tank at the surface ( not resting o anything just floating there) For the past few days including today the fin clamping has been going on and he has been acting scared out of his mind at his reflection which is NOT normal for him.

The tank is a divided 20 gallon and he is in it along with Aido Hanubusa and Phantom, who are both acting normally.) It is heated to 80-82 degrees with very little if any tempurature fluctuation and is cycled and filtered. Gravel is the substrate and i only have plastic plants in the tank. Please please help! By the way i just did a 50% change two weeks ago and will be doing another today.

I'm not sure.....but maybe it might be safe to quarantine him in case he has something that could infect the other fish. Maybe he has some sort of internal parasite if he's looking thin......? I hear garlic mixed in with there food is good to ward off nasties like those. Sorry, that's all the advice I have to offer :c

If you do a 50% every two weeks, it looks like you weren't changing the water enough.. he probably was suffering from ammonia poisoning. I'm almost positive that this is what happened. You need to be changing a portion of the water every week in order to keep on top of the ammonia that they produce.

Sorry for your loss.
