Yes, I'm a knitter at heart (though I do crochet on the rare occasion).

I wouldn't mind having a crochet pattern for one of those. When I was about 8 or 9 a friend of my parents crocheted me a blue poncho or whatever it's called. I really liked it. She taught me how to crochet but a great aunt taught me how to actually make stuff.

I made my hubby a hat that I have yet to get a pic of.
My sister wants me to make a couple of those purses (like I made my mom) for her daughters, so I've modified the pattern to make them smaller and I'll start on those when we pick out the yarn.
I'm so ready for another knitting project too!

I was reading through this thread and you are so talented!!
I crochet and knit VERY basic stuff because I've only learned from books and the internet, don't have anyone to actually show me how to do different things.
I make my niece's hairbows every few months which are really easy... hardest part is finding ribbons in colors and patterns I like. After I saw what my sister was paying for hairbows I was shocked! I use hairclips that don't slide off the hair so they are SO much better than the ones she used to buy.
For winter, I made scarves because I wanted theirs to look like one my sister has... then my sister wanted one for herself.
I also knitted some teddy bears for them for their birthday last July... took me forever to make 2... they are twins so everything is x2.
I only have pics of the teddy bears from their birthday... will share the bows next time I make them

Actually, they are very straight forward, just some increasing and decreasing. You make separate panels and then stitch the edges to close them up and stuff them. Everything is sewed together once you have all the pieces.
My problem with knitting or crochetting for twins is that no 2 pieces ever look the same... the hardest ever were the scarves which sounds insane but with my little experience making scarves that were the same width was a challenge
