Red face Introducing Azrael

Yep... My new betta is the angel of death... lol

He's a tad under the weather due to the WONDERFUL conditions he was in before he came into my care... but he seems happy, has flared a couple of times, and doesn't seem to notice his infected eye... or lack of half of his tail... Hoping these are good signs.
Anyway I thought I'd introduce my little archangel with a few pictures.

Here's my new bedside buddy!

I can't wait to see what he looks like when he brightens up!

I like how you said bedside buddy. My new CT girl is my bedside buddy :)
He will look awesome when you get him all healed up!
Can't wait to see his progress.
Did you get him from someone you know, or from a store??

Yup, Damian is my current "bedside buddy" and he'll be moving into the divided 10 gallon pretty soon... Azrael is the replacement lol

And I got him from a store. He just gave me that face. I've been seeing him there for months and he wasn't looking too good this time around so I caved. My boyfriend is not thrilled.

I've never seen a betta with emerald green eyes. They're gorgeous in person!

He's pretty already (is he a dalmation?) so I bet he'll be a stunner when he's settled in and thriving. Love his green eyes!

He's doing well... Just doing my best to keep him warm. (if anyone has a 25 watt adjustable heater they're not using.... ;] )

And yes, he's an orange dalmatian. My second dal. I wonder if he'll look anything like Winston when he grows up!

He's so tiny compared to the rest of my little family so he looks a bit... I guess pathetic is the right word.. next to Damian. but he's like a mini dachshund that thinks he's a great dane. lol he was flaring at me like crazy last night. Well, what he considers flaring... He flares his gills at me... but kind of reluctantly like "I know I could never take you on... but... " It's the cutest thing.
Just need to work on fixing his eye!

I have an orange dalmation too. He was pink when I first got him so I felt I needed to give him a manly name but now he's darkened considerably.
