bloating - normal or cause for concern

Is it normal for a betta's belly to look kinda bloated before pooping?

I noticed my first betta had a sort of bloated looking belly after a bit of examining it looks like he's trying to poop? i'm not sure but theres a tiny little speck hanging from the bottom of his body which he still hasn't released. He still very active, in fact he seems even more active than the past few days. I've decided to fast all of them today

Now on the other hand is my other betta i didnt feed him or anything today and just now i examine him and he looks really bloated. He also has a little speck hanging from his bottom but he seems to be more shy now. should i worry?

Do you pre-soak your food in tank water? This will prevent dry food from swelling in your fish's stomach after he eats it.

Bloating and constipation isn't a good sign... Please answer the questions Colibri gave you in the link! :)
