My CT's Planted Hex 5

Thought I would share pics of my CT's hex 5 tank. Pants are anubius, java fern and wysteria. It's been set of for a couple months now and it's my first go with real plants. His fins were curled when I got him (walamrt), but I think they are getting better.

Haha...yes it is. That was a very small bit of wisteria a month ago. It has grown like crazy and taken root all in the mopani wood. I just got another hex 5 and I'm going to take some out and transplant it to the new tank.

Java fern on the left, anubius on the right, and wisteria growing on the piece of mopani wood. They are all good low light beginner plants.

i dont mean to hi-jack this thread but when you have real plants like that, how do you do a 100% water change? can you take them out? or with a filter, do you only need to do partial water changes?

If you have a filter AND the nitrogen cycle going, you only need partial water changes ;)

Lovely tank, I love the look of hex's! :D
