I just got Mr. Fish some new (live) plants!
Just after investigating his new bed.
Now that I've fed him, he's exploring rather than jetting back and forth across the front of the tank to beg, haha.
The plant tied to the bridge is anubias, the plant in the little pot is java fern (it's not buried in there - just held in by some gravel on top of a few leaves), and the two in the back are plastic. I wanted some java moss or something similar to tie to the steps on the bridge and around his bed pot (the tipped over one) but they didn't have any at the store. Will keep my eyes out at Petco when I go home this weekend- I really want a rim of java moss around that pot!
I have more of the natural gravel which is in the pot, and I think I want to make a layer of it below the marbles. I have to take the tank down to get it home for Christmas break, so I figure I'll do all that then. :)
If you have any suggestions of better placements/anything I'm doing wrong, let me know!
