Capricorn, please let me know how Lifeguard does with you. I just started the treatment last night.

I can do that, sure.. this is day three of her symptoms (farther than either male I lost) and she was alive this morning.. dose three is later tonight. Hoping she'll take food again when I get home. She seems to be on and off feeling good. Sometimes she's bright and alert and others she's clamped up and hiding.

Okay, I just got my Seachem kanaplex today from Amazon.. she looks worse for wear since the other day but she's hanging on.

Oh, I hope she makes it. It's so tough to see them fading. Good luck!

Thanks!

Okay, one question though.. with the kanaplex, do I dose it every day FOR two days, or every two days? The label is a little confusing. e.e If she's in a 2gal QT do I change the water when I do the next dose?

Every two days, so if you dosed her today you'd dose again on Monday and then Wednesday. You can change the water right before the next dose. The meds are inactive after 48 hours anyway so as long as you change right before dosing her, you're fine. I went to their forums with the same question. :)

Well thanks everyone for the help, but it looks like I was a day too late.. came home from work and she was gone. What a terrible, terrible week for me.

Thanks all for your help and advice, I was really hoping she would pull through for me.

Yeah, that's what's keeping me going right about now. ): I did everything I could for all three of these guys, it was just out of my hands.

At least I have the medicine this time if one of the other two comes down with it.

Thanks for your help again, though, I really can't say it enough.
