Linda Olson is trying to get a new IBC chapter here in Colorado!! Bettas are growing in popularity so if you live in Colorado sign up for the IBC (like $20 a year, give or take a few bucks depending on your choice) and if we get this chapter come to the meetings!
Most groups don't even require you to be in the IBC although its preferred. My group (GA Betta Breeders Association) has a lot of non-IBC members that are still allowed to come to meetings and have input in shows, etc.
We also have a lot of members who have no input at all and don't ever come to meetings which is a pain in the butt. I don't see the point in joining if you aren't going to be actively involved.
Well i hope it works out for yall. There are no chapters around me I'm in Louisiana and i don't know any ppl that are closeto me that are in to bettas and breeding.
I just hope we can get this chapter. It'll give me something to do on the weekends (since Linda said it would be on Saturdays) and an excuse to to not hang out with my annoying friends...I love em but they smother me!
Also isn't Pam S from UB in LA?
