Question About Bubble Nests

So I have my two bettas in their one one gallon tanks and since it's so small the bubble tube is right in the middle and the whole surface of the water circulates...therefore if my betta made a bubble nest I'd never know. Any suggestions?

Well don't worry about bubble nests.. it's a territorial thing that they do, not an indication of health or happiness. If it gets broken up then they'll either try to rebuild it or just forget about it. (:

Though the whole surface circulates? It is a bubbler/air stone? You may not even need it, bettas can breathe from the surface of the water.
