The ADF's with my Bettas

I now have a 10 gallon divided tank. I have two ADF's and I tried feeding them sinking aquatic from pellets yesterday and neither one would eat. The pellets are still on the gravel at the bottom of the tank. Same thing happened today except one of my bettas ate the frog food first. How long until they start eating and how would be the best way to feed them? And the frog pellets are for small frogs and tadpoles but they look too big!

I had an adf last year as well, and he would not touch the pellets. He literally starved to death in months.

Now I have 2 in my 10 gallon, and feed them frozen brine shrimp/bloodworms. I've had them for weeks and they wouldn't touch the food. But today, one of them finally ate.

Be sure to put the food right in front of their nose, as they have a terrible sense of sight/smell. But if your frog still doesn't eat for a couple weeks, I suggest getting some frozen foods. A lot of adfs just won't eat pellets..

I have some freeze dried blood worms and my boyfriend is giving me some freeze dried shrimp today too that he had for his fish before it died. Do you think if I used a turkey baster and squirted the food right in front of his face he'd eat? And how often should I feed them?

I turkey baster would work or if you have a pipet that would work even better. They are alot smaller and easier to use. I never had issues when using the pipet for feeding.

Then do you just squeeze out the food in front of them? and do you have to put the food in water first?
